Few people know about the wonderful neighborhoods of Alicante such as La Florida (Florida Baja), Florida Alta (Florida Portazgo) and Ciudad de Asis.
These are very green and cozy neighborhoods where mostly Spanish people live. These areas are not very promoted and favored by tourists, as they are not so close to the city center and the beach. But don’t let this fact fool you, as these neighborhoods are very comfortable to live in. Calm atmosphere, shady streets, plenty of parks, stores, cafes, supermarkets, banks, pharmacies, schools, kindergartens and excellent transportation will delight you every day.
Real estate prices in these areas are not as high as other, more hyped locations, and the price of long-term rentals is almost the same as in more central areas, making these three neighborhoods even more attractive to investors.
Apartment prices in these neighborhoods start from 30.000 € in Ciudad de Asis and go up to 250.000 € in gated communities in Florida Baja. The average price of an apartment in Ciudad de Asis is 40.000 €, Florida Alta – 55.000 €, Florida Baja – 70.000 €.
