Breakfast options in Spain vary depending on the region you’re in, the number of international travelers, and local specialties.
For most Spaniards, breakfast consists of coffee, toast with tomato and olive oil or pastries and freshly squeezed orange juice. It’s simple and easy, the kind of thing you’re likely to find in most cafes in Spain.
The people of Alicante know what a good breakfast is all about. In this port and sunny city, with endless outdoor terraces, there are not a few places where you can not only have a delicious breakfast, but also enjoy the beautiful views or the atmosphere of the city.
Now we’re going to tell you about some of our favorite breakfast spots in Аликанте. Save it so you don’t lose it!
Madness Specialty Coffee
If you are a coffee lover and know coffee as well as the Spaniards know wine, this is the place to go. There is a very diverse coffee menu here, and the beans are roasted right here, in full view of everyone. The smell of coffee, unusual interior and vintage furniture create its own special atmosphere, which disposes to a leisurely breakfast on Sunday morning.
Santagloria Coffee & Bakery
The perfect place to start your morning with a glass of sparkling wine while the crowds of passers-by rush about their business. Here you will always find delicious fresh pastries, as well as a menu of author’s desserts and cakes.
Crêperie El Molino de Paris
A little corner of France in Alicante! The owners are French, but you should not come here for croissants, but for real authentic French pancakes! Sweet with condensed milk and salty with ham, there is a big choice. Bon appétit!
Cafeteria del Castillo Santa Barbara
Some of the best views of the coastal area of Alicante. The cafe is located in the Santa Barbara castle itself. The menu of the cafe is not really refined and is rather standard. However, here you can combine breakfast with a visit to one of the main attractions of the city and enjoy the magnificent views of the sea and mountains!
